IntroductionSituated in the Seaside Town of Blackpool this 19 bed B&B is the perfect place to stay whether you are visiting for business or leisure. Located to the North of the town, or a 5 minute bus ride from the main shops and attractions. The Small B&B is situated on a hill with a slight incline up from the promenade.
We offer 19 bedrooms, but regret no ground floor bedrooms at present. For breakfast, where possible, we use locally sourced ingredients and cater for varying dietary requirements. Pre-Arrival The nearest railway station is Blackpool North, which is 0.25 miles away (a 5-10 minute walk). Taxis are available at the station. If you require an accessible taxi this can be booked in advance, see contact information for details.- The pavement on the street leading to the B&B is paved with dropped pavements.

Car Parking and Arrival - The driveway has a brick surface with a gravel path leading to the front door. This is well lit at night by a motion sensor light.

Welcome Area - Guests are welcomed in the hallway, which is level throughout, where they are asked to register. Seating can be made available.

- A magnifying glass, pen and pad of paper are available on request.
- The area is evenly and well lit with overhead lighting and wall lights.
- Guests are shown the lounges, Bar and dining room
Bedrooms - Rooms are bright and evenly lit. Bedside lamps are also in each room. An additional reading lamp is available on request.
- On the first floor there are 4 single rooms and 4 family rooms that are reached by stairs only.
- Access doors are 76cm/30ins wide.
- All of our bedrooms offer the following: Lighting as above, good colour contrast between the floor, walls and doors, short pile carpet, all bedding is non-feather, widescreen digital television with remote control, subtitles, and audio description facilities.
Bathrooms, Shower-rooms & Toilets (Ensuite or Shared) - Most rooms have en-suite shower rooms.

Public Areas - Halls, Stairs, Landings, Corridors - All public areas, halls, stairs, landing, are well lit using a combination of ceiling and wall lights.

- There is a continuous flight of fourteen steps to the first floor with a handrail on one side.
Public Areas - Lounge - The guest lounges is situated on the ground floor with step free/level entry from the front door and stairs.

- The room has a mixture of seating with sofas and soft chairs as well as some high chairs with and without arms, together with low coffee tables.

- Breakfast is served but you can help yourself to fruit juices cereals and fruit.
- Crockery is colour contrasted with the table where possible
Garden - There is a paved patio area which can be accessed from the entrance by one step. Tables and chairs are available on the patio.
- The garden area is small with raised patio planters.
Additional Information - The Proprietor is a Registered Nurse (RGN) and will be happy to assist with any information.
- We have a set of evacuation procedures – should you require it someone will come to your room and assist you with evacuation.
- The nearest General Hospital with an A&E unit and walk in NHS is 2 miles away and the nearest Doctor’s surgery is 0.25 miles away. Please let us know if you require further information about these.
- Free WiFi Internet access is available.

Future Plans - We are planning a review of our website later this year to make it more accessible, your comments are welcome to assist us with this project.
- Future plans include ramp access to the front door and a stairlift to the first floor.
